Hos Gynækologen vol. 1 BDE (At the Gynecologist vol. 1 BDE) navigates the intersection between humor/discomfort and the medical/s3xual, in the context of a gynecological clinic. The film plays with the stereotypical power dynamic between patient and doctor where an atypical examination is performed.

Glory H0e is a quirky celebration and reinterpretation of glory holes, usually used by gay men. However, in Glory H0e the holes are adapted to different bodies and sexual interactions with explicit lesbian s3x. At the same time, the film refers to the arcade game: whac-a-mole but here a$$es are spanked instead of moles.

Frida Retz’ (BFA from Bergen Academy of Fine Arts) artistic practice focuses on feminism and queerness attempting to dissolve a binary perspective concerning the body, such as the masculine/feminine, the digital/psychical, the disgusting/caring, and by this expanding our understanding of non-heteronormative relations. Recently, she has worked with art porn – video works with explicit sex scenes within absurd scenarios. Retz is inspired by well-known situations like being at the gynecologist. Rewriting stereotypical narratives, challenging patriarchal hierarchies, and breaking taboos is part of her storytelling.
